Imagineer Bob Gurr has always been a man on the move. And for nearly 40 years, he’s helped move many a happy Disney theme park guests aboard vehicles and ride conveyances of his own design.

As he has often quipped, “If it moves on wheels at Disneyland, I probably designed it.” And he certainly has… developing more than 100 designs for attractions ranging from Autopia to the Matterhorn Bobsleds to the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Monorails, and more.

But did you know… Bob Gurr has worked on and created nearly 200 projects for other companies around the world! From Universal Studios Hollywood and Florida (King Kong experience) to Sony Pictures Godzilla film… From sinking pirate ships at Treasure Island Resort in Las Vegas to flying UFOs for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and many, many more… For the first time ever, Pacific Northwest Mouse Meets is proud to present, “Beyond Disney” with Disney Legend Bob Gurr where we will explore many of the incredible projects Bob worked on throughout the 1980’s to today! We will show never before seen video and photos and talk about all the behind-the-scenes secrets including working with Michael Jackson on his Victory Tour, Flying a UFO into the Los Angeles Olympics stadium and creating a fire breathing serpent for the Conan the Barbarian show at Universal Studios Hollywood and so much more!!
