Mark Silverman is an American voice actor who voiced Rod Serling in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attractions at the Disney parks. He also voiced Friend Owl in many Bambi projects and provided several voices in the Magic Kingdom interactive attraction A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas.

Aside from voicing Friend Owl, Silverman also played the voice of a Grasshopper who never made it past the Bambi storyboards, and is now brought to life in a special deleted scene segment on the new Blu-ray edition of Bambi. He also narrated several bonus features on the Zootopia Blu-ray.
Additionally, Silverman has voiced characters in several Disney dubs of Studio Ghibli films, including the King in Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle and King Jihl in Miyazaki’s Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
Another one of Silverman’s favorite Disney voice projects was getting to re-voice Fred MacMurray for the restoration of The Happiest Millionaire, which was the last live-action film that Walt Disney personally supervised.
